Your daily work at Luminus Solutions:

As a Field Service Engineer UPS, you play an essential role in the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of uninterruptible power supply systems (UPS, MUPS, dynamic or mobile UPS systems).

You will intervene on critical infrastructures such as datacenters, hospitals, or industrial sites, and contribute to the implementation of tailor-made solutions for each site.

This is our only activity with an international scope, with a presence in Belgium, the Netherlands, France, Switzerland, and Germany.

In summary, your role with us:

• Install, commission and configure UPS and MUPS systems to ensure continuity of electrical power;
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on-site at our customers' locations, quickly resolve breakdowns, and analyze incidents to ensure service continuity;
• Ensure the technical follow-up of installations: intervention reports, performance monitoring, compliance with safety instructions and internal quality standards;
• Strict compliance with safety instructions and current regulations;
• Participate in international or multi-site projects according to our customers' needs.

The technical skills you will develop with us: As a Field Service Engineer UPS, you will work on complex and multi-technical electrical systems.

Your missions require in-depth knowledge in different fields:

• Electricity / electrotechnics: installation and wiring of high and low voltage systems, reading and interpreting electrical diagrams, parameter setting and commissioning of UPS, battery management and supervision of charge/discharge systems.
• Electronics and control: knowledge of control boards and electronic modules of UPS, diagnosis of electronic components and parameter adaptation via software.
• Mechanics / electromechanics: assembly and disassembly of fans, relays, transformers, generators, mechanical maintenance of generators and dynamic UPS.
• IT / software: use of UPS supervision and monitoring software, remote management and analysis of performance data.

• You hold a technical bachelor's degree (electricity, electromechanics, electronics, or equivalent).
• You have relevant experience in electricity, UPS / generator maintenance, or critical infrastructure management;
• Bilingual if possible French and Dutch, with a good command of English;
• You work with precision and method and know how to adapt to demanding environments;
• You have a solid technical training and are naturally multi-technical, capable of managing complete electrical installations while handling the mechanical and electronic aspects of UPS, MUPS, dynamic, and mobile systems;
• You are customer-oriented and enjoy establishing a relationship of trust with them;
• You possess a B driving license and are autonomous in traveling to different sites in Belgium and internationally, with flexibility and adaptability, including within the framework of on-call duties.
