Tasks

For our industrial client from Oberursel, we are looking for a technical Purchaser (m/f/d) via direct placement.

• Coordinating the entire procurement process – from requirement clarification to on-time delivery
• Managing the inquiry and quotation process – from supplier inquiry to sound quotation evaluation
• Processing and monitoring orders – including order confirmations, delivery dates, and complaints
• Negotiating prices and conditions as well as creating and monitoring framework agreements
• Ensuring an up-to-date master data base as well as checking and clarifying invoice discrepancies
• Building, supporting, and developing the supplier portfolio – nationally and internationally
• Coordinating import and customs processes as well as managing long-term supplier declarations

Requirements

• Completed commercial training, e.g., as Industriekaufmann (m/f/d) or Kaufmann Groß- und Außenhandelsmanagement (m/f/d) or Kaufmann für Büro-management (m/f/d) or further training in the field of purchasing
• Ideally, you already have relevant experience in the purchasing of an industrial company
• Organizational skills, structured working, and clear communication
• Good knowledge of SAP MM as well as the common MS Office programs
• Good English skills/communication with international suppliers
• Initiative, independent, solution-oriented, and stress-resistant
