Become part of a successful company! As part of direct placement for a client in Blaubeuren, we are looking for a Technical Buyer (m/f/d).

• You continuously develop technical competence in purchasing
• You work closely with the Technical Development and Design departments – from the initial product idea to series production readiness
• You identify cost-saving potential and increase value creation through value analysis, common part strategies, and the optimization of manufacturing costs
• You further expand cooperation with our national and international suppliers, convincing them with technical expertise and a partnership-oriented communication style
• You optimize existing purchasing and supplier processes and continuously develop them further
• You ensure that the required articles and components are available on time, in the required quality, and at market-based conditions

Requirements

• You have completed technical training, for example as a Technischer Zeichner, Dreher, or Fräser, ideally supplemented by further training as an Industriefachwirt, Betriebswirt, or Wirtschaftsingenieur
• Alternatively or additionally, you have further training as a Techniker (m/f/d)
• You already have experience in the international purchasing of components for mechanical and plant engineering
• You have a strong technical understanding, ideally in the area of Dreh-/Frästeile, Blechteile, or electrical assemblies such as Kabelbäume and Kabelkästen
• You convince through strong negotiation skills and experience in working with suppliers
• You have good to business-fluent English skills in speaking and writing
• You possess very good MS-Office skills, especially in Excel
• You are confident in using ERP systems, ideally with Dynamics NAV
