We are looking for 1 Quality Inspector (27502) Location: 4400 Steyr, Oberösterreich

Your profile:

• Completed technical training in the metal sector

• Professional experience in the metal sector, preferably employment in the QM area

• Confident handling of testing and measuring equipment (Zeiss Calypso, Lasertracker Metrolog X4)

• The ability to read and understand CAD drawings (Autodesk Inventor, AutoCAD) is required, paired with very good spatial thinking and imagination

• Team player with a hands-on mentality, proficient English

• Good IT skills, especially MS-Word and MS-Excel

• Strong problem-solving skills and a high degree of quality awareness

• Initiative and commitment as well as an independent and systematic way of working

• Crane license, forklift license, driving license "B" and own car to reach the workplace

Your future activities

• Conventional inspection of components (manual measuring tools, hardness testing, surface testing)

• Identification of quality problems and development of solutions with the respective departments

• Technical documentation (measurement sheets, protocols) and support of production and assembly

• Creation of complaints in case of deviations (in the ERP system)

• Constructive change management in coordination with involved areas, especially design and production

• Processing of complaints as well as resulting corrective actions and suggestions for improvement, monitoring of measuring equipment

• Inspection of parts on the measuring machine, both manually and via CNC process, and if necessary, independent creation of measuring programs

• Inspection of parts using a lasertracker (Metrolog X4)

• Willingness to travel for external acceptances (approx. 2-3 times per year)

• Full-time employment 38.5 hours/week with daytime working hours

• The gross monthly salary is from € 3,400.00

• We are happy to offer overpayment, depending on qualification and professional experience
