Within the mechanical workshop (4 persons), you will actively participate in the production of prototype parts for the wind tunnels, designed by the internal design department. It primarily concerns components and models for wind tunnels, displacement mechanisms, and other mechanical parts used in research projects.

Your main tasks are:

Reading and interpreting technical machining plans.

Manufacturing mechanical parts on the machines in the workshop: Conventional lathes and milling machines

CNC machine (Maho / Hass), controlled via Mastercam

Band saw, drilling machines, grinding machines, tapping machines …

Performing dimensional checks of the manufactured pieces with measuring instruments (caliper, micrometer, dial indicator).

Deburring, cleaning, and checking the thread of the produced parts.

Assisting with the initial assembly and updating if necessary.

Collaborating with technical designers and engineers to improve the manufacturability of the parts.

Maintaining the machine park and ensuring the cleanliness of the work environment.

Diploma in technical secondary education or equivalent through experience.

Demonstrable experience as a machine operator, ideally in an environment with batch production or small series.

Good command of conventional machining techniques and knowledge of CNC machines.

Good knowledge of measuring and assembly techniques in mechanics.

Eager to learn, technical curiosity, and willingness to listen.

Balance between pragmatism and attention to detail.

Ability to work independently and communicate efficiently.

Good knowledge of French and English
