Purchase Analyst

As a Purchase Analyst, you support the purchasing department within an international, industrial environment. You combine analytical insight with a sharp eye for costs, suppliers, and market developments. Thanks to your analyses, the organization can purchase more strategically, sustainably, and efficiently.

Analysis & reporting

You collect, analyze, and interpret data regarding purchase prices, stock levels, and supplier performance. You monitor deadlines and report clear KPIs that effectively provide direction for decisions.

Support of the purchasing strategy

You work closely with the purchasing department in rolling out and refining purchasing strategies, with a focus on cost control and delivery reliability.

Cost optimization

You perform in-depth cost analyses and identify optimizations without compromising on quality or service.

Suppliers & ESG

You support the management of supplier relationships and participate in ESG due diligence, including via digital platforms.

Collaboration within the group

You communicate smoothly with colleagues within your team and with other sites. Additionally, you help new locations to integrate smoothly into the existing purchasing processes.

Market and trend analysis

You closely monitor market developments and raw material prices (with a focus on steel) and translate these insights into concrete recommendations. Sustainable purchasing initiatives also receive your attention.

• You hold a master's degree in business administration, logistics, supply chain, or a similar field.
• You have at least 2 years of experience in an analytical or purchasing-oriented role, preferably within an industrial or technical environment.
• You possess strong analytical thinking skills and are able to clearly interpret complex data and translate it into concrete insights.
• You have knowledge of purchasing processes and supplier management.
• You can work fluently with ERP systems (SAP is a plus) and have excellent knowledge of Excel.
• You possess professional knowledge of English and a basic knowledge of French.
• You are proactive, independent, and solution-oriented, with a strong team-oriented mindset.
