Technical Assistant / Junior Technician - 2 Shifts - Bruges

For an automated production environment in Bruges, we are looking for a Technical Assistant / Junior Technician who wants to further develop within industrial maintenance.

You do not need to know everything from day one. What we do expect is a solid techncial foundation, an interest in machinery and, above all, the motivation to learn.

What will you do?

• Perform preventive maintenance
• Carry out basic technical interventions
• Analyse breakdowns and help solve them
• Check electrical and mechanical components
• Work with motors, sensors and production installations
• Replace or repair technical parts
• Perform small technical repairs and maintenance tasks
• Provide technical support for new machines and workstations
• Identify abnormalities and report them correctly
• Contribute ideas for improvements to machines and installations

During your first months, you will receive intensive guidance from an experienced technician.

• You have completed a full technical education
• For example in electricity, electromechanics, industrial technology or a similiar field
• Good basic knowledge of electricity and/or mechanics
• Willing to work in a 2-shift System
• You speak v ery good English and are willing to learn Dutch.
