Outbound Supervisor Bedford – MK42 Service Contract Shifts Available – 5 out of 7 days- 09:00am- 17:30pm. Pay - £17.32 per hour. We are currently recruiting for an experienced Outbound Supervisor to join our client’s busy, fast-paced 3PL warehouse operation in Bedford . This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced warehouse professional who has a strong background in outbound operations, team supervision and client-facing 3PL environments . As an Outbound Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day outbound operation, ensuring customer requirements are met, productivity targets are achieved, and the operation runs efficiently and safely. Key Duties: Supervise and manage daily outbound warehouse operations. Lead, motivate and manage warehouse teams to achieve operational targets. Coordinate shifts and allocate labour effectively according to operational requirements. Monitor productivity, performance and service levels, taking action where required. Ensure all outbound activities are completed accurately and within required time frames. Communicate directly with clients to understand and manage their operational requirements. Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients and internal stakeholders. Identify and resolve operational issues quickly and effectively. Monitor compliance with company procedures, health & safety and operational standards. Support continuous improvement initiatives and identify opportunities to improve efficiency. Ensure accurate completion of relevant operational documentation and reporting. Manage changing priorities within a busy, multi-client warehouse environment. Requirements: Previous experience working as an Outbound Supervisor within a 3PL warehouse environment . Strong experience managing daily outbound operations and warehouse teams. Previous experience coordinating shifts, labour and operational workloads. Proven ability to monitor productivity and drive team performance. Experience communicating directly with clients and managing their operational requirements. Strong leadership, organisational and problem-solving skills. Experience within a multi-contract / multi-client warehouse environment would be highly advantageous. Experience working within a large-scale logistics operation such as GXO would be an advantage.
