Clarifying information: We are looking for an experienced QA/QC engineer who will take responsibility for quality management on projects in the field of industry and transmission systems (substation, GIS/AIS, power engineering). ACS, which is part of the international 2JCP group, is a dynamically growing company operating in the field of design and provision of technical solutions, especially for power engineering and the construction of industrial units. Together with our teams in Bulgaria, Germany, and Poland, we support renowned customers in the areas of switchgear manufacturing, installations, commissioning of technologies, and system maintenance. We are looking for an experienced QA/QC specialist for our team. The position includes both the strategic setting of QA/QC processes and their practical implementation on projects – including conducting inspections, communicating with the customer, and coordinating subcontractors. Main job description:

• Comprehensive responsibility for QA/QC on the project (from the engineering phase to commissioning)
• Setting and implementation of QA/QC plans, ITP, and control processes
• Leading and coordinating QA/QC activities on the project (including potential leadership of a small team)
• Oversight of compliance with project documentation, technical specifications, and standards (IEC, EN, customer standards)
• Active participation and leadership in inspection days, inspections, and meetings with the customer
• Coordination of internal and external inspections (customer, third parties, certification bodies)
• Approval and control of QA/QC documentation and project documentation

• Management of non-conformities (NCR), root cause analysis, and implementation of corrective actions
• Cooperation with engineering, production, project management, and subcontractors
• Preparation and approval of documents for project handover (quality dossiers, final documentation)
• Quality oversight during switchgear manufacturing and during site implementation
• Support during FAT/SAT, pre-commissioning, and commissioning activities

Requirements:

• Secondary or Higher education in electrical or mechanical engineering
• Min. 5+ years of experience in QA/QC in the field of industrial/power engineering/substation projects
• Demonstrable experience in QA/QC management on projects
• Knowledge of QA/QC processes (ITP, NCR, FAT/SAT, audit processes)
• Excellent orientation in technical and project documentation
• Knowledge of standards (IEC, EN)
• Ability to make independent decisions and take responsibility for project quality
• Communicative English skills (German is an advantage)
• Willingness to combine office work with project site visits
• Driving license group B

Advantage

• Experience with GIS/AIS projects, HV/MV/LV installations
• Knowledge of quality management systems (ISO 9001) and experience with audits
• Experience with DCS/PLC or I&C systems
• Certification in the field of quality, inspection, or audits
