Home Instead North Devon & Exmoor is recruiting Care Assistants and Care Professionals to join its award-winning home care team across Barnstaple, Braunton, Bideford, South Molton, North Devon and Exmoor.
At Home Instead North Devon & Exmoor, care is delivered differently. With minimum one-hour visits, you'll have time to build genuine relationships with the people you support, without feeling rushed.
Home Instead North Devon & Exmoor welcomes applicants from all backgrounds, including those with no previous care experience.
Your tasks
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients in their own homes.
- Spend time chatting with clients and building positive relationships.
- Assist with meal preparation and everyday activities.
- Support clients with personal care when required.
- Provide medication reminders.
- Help clients with shopping and other daily tasks.
- Support clients in attending hobbies, activities and appointments.
- Encourage independence and help clients maintain their quality of life.
Requirements
No previous care experience is required, as full, award-winning training is provided. Many Care Professionals have previously worked in retail, hospitality, childcare and customer service.
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
- Right to work in the UK.
- Kind, caring and reliable nature.
- Enjoyment of helping people and building relationships.
- Willingness to make a positive difference in people's lives.
- Applicants must be aged 18 or over.
- No previous care experience required, as full training is provided.

- £13.40-£14.60 per hour.
- Paid mileage and paid travel time between clients.

- Choice of 5-35 guaranteed hours per week.

- Visits scheduled between 6:45am and 10pm.
- Morning-only, evening-only or mixed working patterns available.
- Every other weekend working, rather than every weekend.
- Minimum one-hour client visits.
- Clients matched close to where you live to reduce travel time.
- Full, award-winning training with no previous care experience required.
- Fully funded Level 2, 3, 4 and 5 qualifications in Health and Social Care.
- Specialist training in dementia, Parkinson's and end-of-life care.
