Design Engineer in Industry (M/F)
Job Description:
Reporting to the Process & Research & Development Manager, you will operate at the heart of industrial projects.
Your role consists of analyzing client needs, defining the most suitable thermal processes, supporting sales teams in their technical choices, and participating in the development of innovative solutions.
You will also be required to occasionally intervene on-site to support the commissioning or optimization of installations.
Your Missions
On a daily basis, you will be required to perform thermal studies and the dimensioning of installations.
- Translate specifications into suitable technical solutions.
- Participate in the estimation and budgeting of projects.
- Provide technical support to sales teams and design offices.
- Design and improve thermal processes within an innovation approach.
- Participate in Research & Development projects and technological monitoring.
- Support commissioning, testing, and technical audits on-site, both in France and internationally.
Key Challenges of the Position
Develop innovative solutions addressing the industrial challenges of clients. Be the technical referent between sales teams, design offices, and field teams. Actively contribute to R&D projects and the continuous improvement of processes. Work on varied projects combining design office, innovation, and field work.
Profile Description:
Profile sought***Engineering degree specialized in industrial thermal, process engineering, materials, or an equivalent field.
- Experience in an industrial environment is necessary.
- Solid knowledge of industrial thermal and manufacturing processes.
- Professional English allowing for communication with clients and occasional international intervention.
- Technical curiosity, analytical spirit, and a taste for solving complex problems.
- Desire to hold a position combining studies, innovation, and field travel (approximately 70% office / 30% field).
