Industrial Purchasing Engineer (M/F)

Job Description:

Reporting to the Purchasing / Procurement Manager, you will join a human-sized, versatile, and collaborative team.

As a Series Life and Purchasing Project Manager, you are a key player in the product development phases, with the objective of ensuring the implementation of robust purchasing solutions, allowing for a smooth transition to series production.

In this capacity, your main responsibilities are as follows:

Project Purchasing Management***Manage purchases related to development phases (prototypes, pre-series, industrialization) until the transition to series production

• Understand, analyze, and challenge technical needs in close connection with internal teams (design office, methods, industrialization. Knowledge and reading of technical drawings
• Source, identify, and select suppliers capable of supporting projects until the series phase
• Manage supplier consultations in line with the purchasing strategy
• Lead negotiations (costs, quality, deadlines, industrial capacities) with a logic of securing the transition to series production
• Contract and implement agreements adapted to project and industrial challenges
• Ensure supplier monitoring during the project phase until series validation (quality, deadlines, industrial maturity)
• Guarantee the integration and reliability of purchasing data in the ERP

Contribution to the transition to series life***Prepare and secure the transfer of purchases to series production

• Participate in setting up sustainable purchasing conditions (series prices, logistics, supplier capacities)
• Collaborate with procurement teams to ensure a smooth continuity between project and series
• Contribute to securing supplies from the upstream phase

Contribution to department performance***Provide transversal support to the activities of the purchasing / procurement department

• Participate in the continuous improvement of purchasing processes
• Contribute to the overall performance of the purchasing function

Profile Description Experience: Minimum 3 years in a similar position, ideally in an industrial environment

• Education: Master's degree (Bac+5) in mechanical/Aerospace/materials engineering with confirmed experience in purchasing
• Languages: Professional English, both written and spoken
