Calculation Engineer (M/F)

Job Description:

Under the authority of the Commercial Director for Projects, Design Offices, and R&D, you will intervene across the entire product development cycle, from feasibility studies to technical validation.

As a true calculation expert, you will work in close collaboration with the Industrialization, Quality, and Production teams to guarantee reliable, robust, and industrializable solutions.

Your main missions***Perform feasibility studies, calculations, and mechanical simulations necessary for the development of new products and processes, while respecting technical, quality, cost, and deadline requirements.

• Design and model technical solutions in order to validate design choices and support development phases.
• Lead risk analyses by facilitating Product and Process AMDEC, design reviews, and various tests to secure projects.
• Support projects through to industrialization by providing your technical expertise during prototyping, validation, pre-series, and series start-up phases.
• Monitor project progress by guaranteeing adherence to schedules, anticipating deviations, and proposing solutions adapted to technical constraints.
• Contribute to the improvement of development methods by being proactive in a context of strategic importance against international competition.

Contract Terms***Permanent contract (CDI) with Executive status (Cadre)

• Remuneration: starting from 50k€ over 13 months depending on profile and experience
• Occasional travel, including internationally
• Remote work possible: 1 day/week after 1 year of seniority

Profile Description:

You are a graduate of an engineering school or an equivalent training in mechanics and have a successful first experience in mechanical calculation or product development.

Beyond your background, it is above all your potential, your technical curiosity, and your ability to evolve in a demanding environment that will make the difference.

You specifically master mechanical calculation and simulation tools, CAD environments, Product & Process AMDEC and risk analysis procedures, metallic materials and manufacturing processes, and technical English, which is indispensable for evolving in an international environment.
