Urgent: Program Engineer (sales/rfq/quotation)
About the company
Join a team supporting a growing automation equipment business. In this role, sales and program coordination role, you will help manage customer accounts, support quotations and forecasts, and work closely with technical and operations teams to ensure customers receive quality solutions on time.
Your tasks
What you’ll do
- Support the sales and programme management of automation equipment projects.
- Assist in preparing sales projections, forecasts, reports, and customer documentation.
- Help identify new business opportunities and support efforts to grow the customer base.
- Participate in sales calls, customer meetings, and product presentations alongside senior team members.
- Support the RFQ and quotation process, including preparing submissions, tracking responses, and following up with customers.
- Coordinate with engineering, operations, and other internal teams to keep projects and customer requests on track.
- Build positive working relationships with customers through clear communication, responsiveness, and good follow-up.
- Attend selected industry events and support relationship-building with prospective customers.
Requirements
What we’re looking for
- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
- 2 years of relevant experience in automation, semiconductor, manufacturing, or consumer electronics industries.
- Strong communication skills and a proactive, customer-focused attitude.
- Good organisational skills, attention to detail, and ability to coordinate with different teams.
- Willingness to travel regionally when required.
