We are seeking a commercially driven Sales Executive (EV) professional to support the growth of EV charging infrastructure, energy storage and battery-swapping solutions. You will identify new opportunities, originate commercially viable projects and establish partnerships across the wider clean-energy ecosystem. This role is suited to someone who combines commercial acumen with a sound understanding of emerging energy and mobility technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify, assess and develop new business opportunities across EV charging infrastructure, energy storage systems and battery-swapping solutions.
- Support business planning, market-entry strategies and other initiatives aimed at expanding the organisation’s energy solutions portfolio.
- Originate new projects and collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop commercially viable proposals, financial assessments and business cases.
- Build and maintain productive relationships with regulators, customers, suppliers, service operators and strategic partners.
- Lead commercial discussions and negotiate contracts, MOUs, partnership agreements and other business arrangements.
- Monitor regulatory developments, competitor activities, market trends and emerging technologies to identify potential opportunities and commercial risks.
- Maintain an accurate business-development pipeline and prepare regular project updates, market assessments and management reports.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering or a related discipline.
- At least two years of experience in business development, marketing or another commercial function within the EV charging, energy or power sectors.
- Good understanding of EV charging technologies, project-development lifecycles and related commercial models.
- Strong commercial judgment, with experience in opportunity assessment, business-case development, negotiation and contract management.
- Sound analytical, problem-solving and market-research capabilities.
- Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to develop effective external partnerships.
- Proactive, resourceful and comfortable working independently in a fast-moving environment.
- High standards of integrity, professionalism and accountability.
