About the Role AcePLP is looking for an experienced Senior BIM/CAD Engineer to support the delivery of BIM and CAD projects across the built environment industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing and coordinating high-quality BIM models and technical drawings, supporting project teams, resolving modelling and coordination issues, and ensuring project deliverables meet client and industry requirements. This role is suitable for an experienced BIM professional who is technically strong, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently while guiding junior team members. Key Responsibilities Develop, manage, and maintain BIM models and CAD drawings throughout different stages of a project. Produce accurate drawings, models, schedules, and other project documentation based on design and project requirements. Coordinate Architectural, Structural, and MEP models to identify and resolve clashes and coordination issues. Review BIM models and drawings to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with project standards. Support BIM coordination meetings and communicate technical issues with project stakeholders. Assist in the preparation and implementation of BIM standards, workflows, templates, and modelling guidelines. Manage model updates, revisions, file exchanges, and drawing submissions. Perform quality checks on BIM models and CAD deliverables before submission. Support project teams in troubleshooting BIM and CAD-related technical issues. Guide and mentor junior BIM/CAD Engineers and Modellers where required. Coordinate with consultants, contractors, clients, and other project stakeholders. Ensure project deliverables are completed according to agreed timelines and quality requirements. Support digital delivery initiatives and the adoption of new BIM technologies and workflows. Requirements Diploma or Degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction, Building Services, or a related discipline.
Minimum 2 years experience in BIM modelling, coordination, and CAD production within the AEC industry.
Strong working knowledge of Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD .
Experience in one or more disciplines such as Architectural, Structural, Mechanical, Electrical, or Plumbing modelling.
Good understanding of BIM coordination, documentation, and project delivery processes.
Ability to interpret architectural, structural, MEP, and engineering drawings.
Experience working with linked and federated BIM models.
Strong attention to detail and ability to identify modelling and drawing discrepancies.
Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
Able to work independently and manage multiple project requirements.
