About the role

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Licensed Electrical Worker (LEW) – Grade 8 to support our Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) projects and electrical operations. The successful candidate will oversee electrical design reviews, certification, power-on activities, and other duties within the scope of the LEW licence, while supporting monthly hand tool inspections at various maintenance sites.

Key responsibilities

• Review and verify electrical designs, drawings, and technical documents for EPC projects.
• Review and certify electrical installations and related documentation within the authorised scope of the LEW licence.
• Oversee and coordinate electrical testing, commissioning, and power-on activities.
• Perform LEW duties in accordance with applicable Singapore electrical safety regulations and requirements.
• Provide technical guidance on electrical safety, installation compliance, and project requirements.
• Conduct monthly inspections of hand tools at various maintenance sites and maintain proper inspection and certification records, where authorised.
• Identify electrical safety issues, non-compliance, and defects, and recommend corrective actions.
• Liaise with project teams, clients, contractors, and relevant authorities on electrical matters.

About you

• Possess a valid LEW Grade 8 licence recognised in Singapore.
• Relevant experience in electrical engineering, EPC projects, electrical design review, testing, and commissioning.
• Good knowledge of Singapore electrical safety regulations and installation requirements.
• Able to review electrical drawings, technical submissions, and testing documentation.
• Strong sense of responsibility, good communication skills, and ability to work independently.
• Must possess a valid driving licence and own car to travel between project and maintenance sites.
