*Job Description* Ace Courier Kelowna seeking a motivated individual to join our team - _*new drivers welcome. *_

Must be honest, hardworking, trustworthy, independent and above all, _*reliable*_. The route will start in Kelowna around 8pm. You will take a 53ft Box trailer to Vernon, return to Kelowna, return to Vernon again then to Kamloops and back to Kelowna

*Responsibilities*

• Safely operate a commercial truck to transport freight to designated locations.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
• Load and unload freight, utilizing forklifts if needed.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding routes, schedules, and any issues that arise during transport.
• Ensure that all cargo is secured properly to prevent damage during transit.

*Qualifications*

• 2 years winter driving
• Knowledge of putting chains on
• Experience operating forklifts is a plus for loading and unloading freight efficiently.

• Class 1 License
• A positive attitude
• Drivers Abstract with no suspensions
• Job reference
• Willingness to learn
