Procurement Officer

About the company

We're working on the behalf of a well-established construction company, looking for a new Procurement Officer to assist them. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

Your tasks

• Keeping in touch with price trends for different products, researching best value suppliers
• Ordering building materials, maintaining positive relationships with suppliers
• Organising delivery of products to correct building sites, ensuring everything arrives on time as needed
• Liaising between suppliers and internal teams to ensure clear communication is established for each project

Requirements

Ideally, you will have good previous procurement experience, within a construction environment would be highly useful. This role is a full-time in office position within central Portsmouth.
