Finance Director

Our client is looking to appoint and experienced Finance Director who can take full ownership and accountability for the financial function of the business. This is a hands-on senior role within a growing construction company. The position requires someone who is comfortable rolling up their sleeves and undertaking the day-to-day accounting, while also providing strategic financial direction to the business.

Working for this small, fast paced team you will need to be:

• ACA, ACCA, CIMA qualified
• Significant experience at Finance Director or Financial Controller level
• Strong experience within the construction industry
• Excellent technical accounting and financial control knowledge
• A proven hands on approach
• Support the company's growth

Responsibilities;

• Manage the day-to-day finance operation
• Produce monthly management accounts
• Manage year-end accounting
• Monitor the companies overall financial performance
• Cashflow and financial control
• Budgeting and forecasting
• Work closely with the Managing Directors
• Improve processes to make the finance function as efficient as possible
• Ensure the business remains compliant with relevant accounting and tax requirements
• Advising on any areas of sales or marketing
