Job description

Requests, receives, stocks, and issues materials, supplies, tools, parts, and equipment.

Utilizes a computer purchasing and inventory control system.

Verifies articles against purchase orders or packing lists, counts, and inspects materials for damage or defects.

Reviews potential vendor information required to register as PCWA suppliers.

Researches discrepancies in purchase orders and duplicate orders.

Selects proper storage areas and stores articles in bins, racks, shelves, floor, or yard areas.

Issues materials, supplies, tools, parts, and equipment; obtains proper records and requisitions.

Enters and retrieves data from a computerized inventory control system.

Tracks material usage and establishes reorder points.

Assists in reconciling work order quantities with inventory records.

Performs weekly cycle counts, quarterly inventory, mid-year inventory, year-end inventory, and physical inventory; prepares year-end inventory reports.

Predicts that all activities and purchased equipment and belongings may impact the environment; participates in activities organized to protect biological diversity and shares individual responsibilities to increase environmental knowledge and carry out necessary training.

Provides for minimum consumption of currently used items and equipment (paper, printed materials, etc.).

Implements necessary warnings and departmental training to save energy inside the facility; carries out decisions made for saving energy; predicts effects of environment and energy efficiency on purchased equipment.

Implements responsibilities to eliminate and collect waste properly, reduce environmental pollution and harmful effects, and leads staff accordingly.

Ensures safe carrying, storing, and usage of chemicals in accordance with laws; controls and reduces chemical contamination.

Carries out all responsibilities related to the quality management systems implemented at the facilities.

Performs all other duties assigned by managers and hotel management not specified in the job description.

Qualifications

Education: 4-year bachelor's degree.

Experience: At least 2 years of work experience.

Foreign language: At least intermediate level English.

Computer literacy: MS Office applications, MC knowledge.

Special qualifications: Knowledge about the legislation / practices / systems in the related field. Performs several actions that are correlated and concern more than one group of actions specifically aimed at the targets. Performs specific sequential activities that are related to each other.
