Job description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Intern - Engineering to join our engineering team in Ras Al-Khaimah, United Arab Emirates. This internship offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a professional engineering environment while supporting our team on meaningful projects. You will work alongside experienced engineers, develop technical skills, and contribute to the design, analysis, and optimization of engineering solutions.
Responsibilities:
Assist senior engineers in the design, development, and testing of engineering projects and systems
Conduct technical analysis, research, and troubleshooting to support ongoing initiatives
Participate in quality assurance and testing activities to ensure project specifications are met
Document technical specifications, design changes, and project progress in an organized manner
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and provide technical support
Support the maintenance, optimization, and improvement of engineering systems and processes
Contribute to problem-solving activities and provide recommendations for process improvements
Utilize engineering software and tools to create models, simulations, and technical documentation
Qualifications:
Strong analytical and technical problem-solving skills
Proficiency in engineering software and CAD tools (such as AutoCAD, SOLIDWORKS, or similar platforms)
Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Time management skills and ability to work efficiently on multiple tasks
Familiarity with engineering principles and industry standards
Experience with project documentation and technical writing
Preferred: Prior internship, co-op, or project experience in an engineering environment
Preferred: Knowledge of specific engineering disciplines (mechanical, electrical, civil, or software engineering)
Preferred: Basic understanding of project management concepts
Preferred: Programming or scripting experience
