What you will be doing:
Actively share ideas, opinions and suggestions to improve the environment and menus
Ensure the consistency in the preparation of all food items for a la carte and/or buffet menus according to property recipes and standards
Communicate effectively with the rest of the team and strive for guest feedback
Assist the Chef de Partie in the daily operation of the assigned kitchen section
Prepare, cook, and present dishes according to hotel recipes and quality standards
Ensure all food is prepared and served in a timely and consistent manner
Maintain cleanliness, organization, and hygiene standards in accordance with HACCP and hotel policies
Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory control and ordering
Support the training and guidance of junior kitchen colleagues when required
Work closely with the culinary team to ensure smooth kitchen operations and guest satisfaction
Qualifications
Your experience and skills include:
Minimum of 2u20133 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within an international hotel environment
Culinary qualification or relevant professional training is an advantage
Good knowledge of food preparation techniques, kitchen operations, and HACCP food safety and hygiene standards
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards
Strong teamwork, communication, and organizational skills
Must maintain a neat, clean, and professional appearance in accordance with hotel standards
