Job description

Being a Novotel & Adagio Heartist is passionate about their profession and has the desire to satisfy customers, is proud of the brand and its mindset. As a CID Data Entry Agent, your main responsibility will be to update the guest's information in the CID system.

Update promptly (within two hours from guest arrival or departure) all guest information in the CID system (check-in and check-out) in the online system of the Novotel & Adagio simultaneously.

Follow all relevant Front Office procedures linked to the CID system.

Inform promptly the Manager or Supervisor whenever there are issues either with the system or with the data collected by the reception team.

Maintain the CID log book every shift reporting the system status, count and any issues that need to be handed over or followed up.

Ensure that all guest documentation is available and up-to-date.

Help encourage guest loyalty by developing friendly, personalized relationships.

Ensure that administrative procedures never take priority over guest relations.

Anticipate guests' needs and take them into consideration.

Deal swiftly, efficiently and sensitively with guest complaints and follow through by passing on the information to the respective department or Guest Services team.

Convey the brand and hotel image through an irreproachable attitude.

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the hotel and local services.

Report for duty punctually wearing the correct uniform and name tag.

Maintain a high standard of personal appearance, hygiene and adhere to the hotel and department appearance standards.

Read and understand the hotel’s Employee Handbook and adhere to the hotel’s rules and regulations, in particular the policies and procedures relating to fire, hygiene, health and safety.

Comply with local legislation as required.

Respond to any changes in the department as dictated by the needs of the hotel.

Attend training and meetings as and when required.

Qualifications

Good interpersonal skills, guest oriented and service minded.

Team spirit.

Service-focused personality is essential.

Good presentation and confident speaking skills.

Prior experience working with CID or a related system.

Fluent in English and Arabic.
