Senior Service Technician with willingness to travel

We are a renowned company in the field of personnel services based in Linz and are looking for 1 Senior Service Technician with willingness to travel for our client in Steyr

Your tasks:

• Area of operation at EMO, an internationally active special purpose machine manufacturing company
• Programming and adaptation of machine and plant controls
• Electrical installation, final assembly, and commissioning of special purpose machines at the plant and at the customer's site
• Carrying out service, maintenance, and repair assignments including error analysis and troubleshooting
• Acceptance of machines and plants as well as production support at the customer's site
• Conducting customer training and technical instructions
• Optimization of machine and production processes
• Documentation of the assignments carried out
• Travel assignments domestically and abroad

Your profile:

• Completed training in the field of electrical engineering, automation technology, or a comparable qualification (e.g., HTL, apprenticeship with Master)
• Several years of professional experience in electrical assembly and commissioning of machines or plants
• Sound knowledge in PLC programming, ideally with Siemens TIA Portal
• Basic knowledge in hydraulics and mechanics
• Willingness to travel (approx. 120 days per year) domestically and abroad
• Proficient English skills in speaking and writing
• Driving license B
• Independent, structured, and responsible way of working
• Ability to work in a team, strong communication skills, and enjoyment of direct customer contact

Our offer:

• Remuneration: from € 4,000.00 gross/month plus various allowances (possible overpayment individually negotiable)
• Working hours: Full-time employment - 38.5h/week (flexitime)
