Automation Engineer M/F/X

Acass recruitment agency is looking for an Automation Engineer M/F/X for its client as part of a CDI (permanent contract).

The position is based in Villars (42).

Within the design office, you will work on special machine projects in automation, robotics, and industrial vision.

On a daily basis, you will be required to:

-Manage projects regarding automation, robotics, and vision parts

-Program PLCs and robots -Perform functional tests on machines and identify any technical problems

-Participate in customer receptions and on-site installations at customer premises

-Perform commissioning and ensure after-sales service as well as remote troubleshooting

-Perform robot simulations and calibrations between vision and robot

-Structure and maintain programming standards and function libraries

-Participate in continuous improvement and feedback loops

-Support and develop the skills of the automation team

*Training: Engineering degree in automation, robotics, or industrial vision

*Experience: You have at least 5 years of experience in a similar environment, ideally in special machines.

*Technical skills:

-You possess very good knowledge in vision, robotics, and automation.

-You master automation architectures and industrial networks, as well as electrical standards and machine safety.

-You also have good knowledge of mechanics and electricity.

Proficiency in professional English is expected.

*Required qualities:

-Your leadership, autonomy, rigor, analytical and synthesis skills, as well as your sense of service are essential.

-You enjoy teamwork and are able to manage several projects in parallel.
