Our location in Dietzenbach near Frankfurt am Main includes the development centers for magnetic components and switching power supplies. These centers operate independently and in a project-oriented manner for the entire European sales territory of Acal BFi. Main tasks include the development of customer-specific products and their transition into series production. In addition to development activities, this includes project management, prototype construction, certification, supplier management, and quality assurance.

We are looking for an experienced and committed:

Project Manager Electronics Development (m/f/d) full-time

for our Switching Power Supplies Competence Center in Dietzenbach at the earliest possible date.

Your Tasks

As a Project Manager (m/f/d), you will support the Head of Development in managing several development and industrialization projects in the field of power electronics. You will keep an eye on deadlines and milestones and ensure the consistent follow-up of agreed tasks. Another focus of your activity is the management of series production at external manufacturing service providers, including new product introductions.

• Monitoring and tracking of deadlines, milestones, and agreed tasks for several parallel development projects based on predefined project plans
• Early detection of schedule deviations and project risks, as well as escalation to the Head of Development
• Change management during product development: recording, documentation, and tracking of design and product changes as a basis for later cost assessment and customer billing
• Transition of new products into series production: coordination and tracking of industrialization, approvals, and series ramp-up
• Management of series production at external manufacturing service providers, particularly production planning, delivery dates, technical inquiries, and coordination of measures
• Coordination and documentation of component changes and alternative components
• If required, support and coordination of funding projects, including coordination with funding consultants, the finance department, and funding providers

Your Profile

• Completed technical studies, ideally Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or Mechatronics
• Several years of experience in multi-project management, preferably in the development environment of technical products
• Ideally experience in managing manufacturing service providers
• Strong organizational talent and a very structured, independent way of working
• Ability to consistently follow up on tasks and deadlines even without direct authority to instruct
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Good written and spoken English skills
• Willingness for occasional travel
