We are looking for a Java Engineer to work with our customer. Ourclient is a globally operating financial services provider specializing in online CFD trading across forex, commodities, indices, metals, energy, and cryptocurrencies. It combines advanced trading technology, competitive pricing, and fast trade execution to deliver a seamless trading experience for retail and institutional clients. The company operates across multiple international markets and maintains a strong focus on regulatory compliance, client satisfaction, and long-term partnerships with affiliates and introducing brokers.

Daily tasks

  • Design, develop, and maintain backend services and integrations using Java and REST APIs.
  • Integrate with trading platforms through REST and WebSocket APIs, implementing order processing, margin calculations, and profit and loss (P&L) logic.
  • Ensure accurate financial calculations, including decimal precision, rounding, and currency handling.
  • Build and maintain integrations with Microsoft Dynamics 365 / Dataverse, AWS Cognito, payment providers, and KYC services.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, scalable, and reliable solutions in a regulated financial environment.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of professional experience in Java development.
  • Experience in FinTech, trading, wealth management, payments, or other heavily regulated industries.
  • Strong experience building backend services and integrating external systems through REST APIs.
  • Experience with WebSocket APIs and real-time data integration.
  • Understanding of financial transaction processing, including orders, margins, P&L, precision, rounding, and currencies.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and an understanding of secure, reliable software development.

Nice to have:

  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 / Dataverse.
  • Familiarity with AWS Cognito.
  • Experience integrating payment gateways and KYC providers.
  • Knowledge of trading platforms and financial products.
