Business Analyst

We are looking for a BA to work with our customer. Ourclient is a globally operating financial services provider specializing in online CFD trading across forex, commodities, indices, metals, energy, and cryptocurrencies. It combines advanced trading technology, competitive pricing, and fast trade execution to deliver a seamless trading experience for retail and institutional clients. The company operates across multiple international markets and maintains a strong focus on regulatory compliance, client satisfaction, and long-term partnerships with affiliates and introducing brokers.

Daily tasks

• Gather, analyse, and document business and functional requirements from stakeholders.
• Translate business needs into user stories, use cases, acceptance criteria, and clear specifications for development teams.
• Analyse existing business processes, identify gaps, and propose improvements.
• Work closely with Product Owners, developers, QA engineers, and other stakeholders throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Facilitate workshops, requirement-gathering sessions, and discussions to align business and technical teams.
• Support backlog refinement, sprint planning, and prioritisation of requirements.
• Validate delivered solutions against business requirements and support user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Document business rules, workflows, process diagrams, and system integrations.
• Ensure that requirements account for data accuracy, security, regulatory compliance, and operational reliability.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst in software development or digital product environments.
• Experience working in FinTech, trading, wealth management, payments, or other heavily regulated industries.
• Strong skills in requirements gathering, process analysis, and functional documentation.
• Experience writing user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional specifications.
• Ability to translate complex business needs into actionable requirements for technical teams.
• Experience working closely with developers, QA engineers, and product stakeholders in an Agile environment.
• Good understanding of software development lifecycles and system integrations.

Nice to Haves:

• Hands-on experience with mobile app products
• Familiarity with analytics platforms (PostHog, Metabase, etc.) or basic SQL querying
