Teaching Assistant - Ellesmere Port

Are you the person in the classroom who notices when a pupil needs a little extra encouragement before they've even asked?

Academics are looking for a Teaching Assistant to work across primary schools in Ellesmere Port , supporting pupils in and out of the classroom.

We're looking for someone who can bring more than just classroom experience - someone who is patient, adaptable and genuinely enjoys helping children make progress , whether that's through a well-timed bit of encouragement, supporting a small group or simply being a familiar face in the classroom.

What you could be doing:

• Supporting pupils with their learning across EYFS, KS1 or KS2
• Working alongside teachers to keep lessons running smoothly
• Helping children build confidence and independence
• Supporting small groups or individual pupils where needed
• Getting involved with different schools and adapting to new environments

What we're looking for:

• Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification desirable
• Previous experience working with children in a school or similar setting
• A positive and adaptable approach
• Good communication and classroom management skills
• A genuine interest in supporting children's learning and development
• An enhanced DBS or willingness to obtain one
