A CACHE Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years, or a relevant equivalent Level 3 qualification, is essential for this role due to early years staffing requirements.

- Pay: £92.56 - £100 per day (dependent on experience, training, qualifications and client rate available, paid via PAYE - no umbrella company fees, inclusive of holiday pay)

About the Role
As a Reception Teaching Assistant in Worksop, you will support children within the Reception classroom, helping them develop early learning skills, confidence and independence.
The Reception Teaching Assistant may provide whole-class support, work with small groups or offer individual support depending on the needs of the pupils and school. You will help deliver engaging activities through play and support children's early literacy, numeracy and communication.
Key Responsibilities
- Support Reception pupils with classroom learning
- Assist with play-based activities and early learning
- Support early literacy, numeracy and communication
- Provide whole-class, small-group and individual support
- Work closely with the class teacher and wider team
- Follow safeguarding and school procedures
Candidate Requirements
- CACHE Level 3 in Childcare or Early Years, or a relevant equivalent Level 3 qualification, is essential
- Previous experience working with children in an early years or school setting
- Understanding of early childhood development
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Enhanced DBS Certificate or willingness to obtain one
