Academics, an established Education Agency, are acting as an agency and are recruiting Nursery Teachers for temporary, ongoing supply work across nursery and early years settings in Worksop and the surrounding areas.

Your tasks

This Nursery Teacher opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys helping young children learn through play, exploration and engaging early years activities. Whether you are looking for day-to-day supply, short-term cover or longer-term work, there may be opportunities across a variety of Worksop settings.

About the Role As a Nursery Teacher in Worksop, you will support children's early learning and development, creating a safe, stimulating environment where they can build confidence and independence.

The Nursery Teacher role may involve planning engaging activities, encouraging communication and social development, and supporting children in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.

• Plan and deliver engaging early years learning activities
• Encourage learning through play and exploration
• Support children's communication and language development
• Promote social skills, confidence and independence
• Observe and monitor children's progress
• Create a safe and stimulating learning environment
• Work collaboratively with nursery staff
• Follow safeguarding and setting procedures

Requirements

Candidate Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Early Years Teacher Status (EYTS), as appropriate to the role
• Experience working with children in an early years setting
• Good understanding of child development and the EYFS framework
• Patient, caring and creative approach
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Enhanced DBS Certificate or willingness to obtain one

What we offer

*Contract: Temporary, flexible ongoing supply Pay:** £130 - £190 per day (dependent on experience, training, qualifications and client rate available, paid via PAYE - no umbrella company fees, inclusive of holiday pay)

Salary will be determined by the successful candidate's qualifications and relevant experience, and will be in accordance with the client's pay policy.
