Level 3 Primary Teaching Assistant
About the company
We are currently looking for a dedicated and qualified Teaching Assistant to work for a number of our schools based in Yardley Wood and surrounding areas. The chosen candidates will have the opportunity to cover day to day supply, short-term bookings and long-term roles.
Your tasks
As a qualified Teaching Assistant your main responsibilities will consist of:
- Not only supporting pupils educational development but also managing and supporting the classroom alongside the designated teacher
- Creating a positive and engaging atmosphere in the classroom
- Providing tailored assistance for SEND pupils
- Monitoring students and reporting to designated teacher when needed
- De-escalating behavioural conflicts and recognising good behaviour in accordance with the schools policies
Requirements
Teaching Assistant Requirements
- Enhanced DBS (must be on the update service)
- Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent e.g. Level 3 Childcare)
- Willingness to complete relevant training continually when needed

Salary will be determined by the successful candidate's qualifications and relevant experience, and will be in accordance with the client's pay policy.
