We are looking for a patient, resilient and compassionate Behavior Teaching Assistant to join a supportive school in Newham, working with children and young people who may display challenging behaviour.

The Role - Education and Training - Behaviour Teaching Assistant

As a Behaviour Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and pastoral staff to support pupils with challenging behaviour. You will help students regulate their emotions, develop positive behaviour strategies and engage with learning.

The role is based in Newham and requires someone who can remain calm, consistent and encouraging when supporting pupils who may need additional behavioural support.

About You

We are seeking a Behaviour Teaching Assistant who is empathetic, reliable and confident working with challenging behaviour. Previous experience in a school, education, youth work or support setting is desirable.

You will receive appropriate training and guidance to help you understand individual behaviour needs and develop effective strategies for supporting pupils.
