Job Description

As an Electrical Designer, you will take comprehensive responsibility for the electrical design of our customer projects, from circuit diagrams, safety circuits, and sensor layouts to the design of electrical centers. You will work with Eplan software and will have the opportunity to influence projects from their inception. You will be involved as early as the sales and concept phase together with mechanical design, and you will actively participate in customer meetings, being responsible for electrical technical details and, to some extent, also in the customer interface.

The role is versatile and varied, allowing you to participate in different stages of projects depending on the situation. In addition to the design desk, you will support practical assembly and the rest of the design team as needed. Within the design team, you will work closely with the design manager, automation design, production, and subcontractors. Work is primarily performed on-site at the Tampere office.

Tasks

Electrical design in customer projects

Preparing circuit diagrams and safety circuits with EPLAN software

Sensor design and selection and procurement of electrical components

Detailed design of electrical centers

Technical support for equipment assembly and the rest of the design team, as well as stakeholder cooperation

We are looking for

Previous experience in industrial electrical design

Practical skills in industrial design software, e.g., EPLAN

Basic understanding of electrical diagrams and safety circuits

Fluent oral and written English skills; Finnish language skills are seen as an advantage

Proficiency in MS Office tools, especially Excel

A systematic, collaborative, and meticulous approach to work

We value if you have

Skills in Eplan 3D tools

Practical experience in electrical installation tasks

Knowledge of standards, such as EN 60204-1 and ISO 13849-1/-2
