Job Description
In this role, you will directly influence the future of mobile machinery as well as industrial machines and equipment as part of the Tampere electrical and automation design team. Your tasks will be shaped by your previous background, strengths, and interests, and you will get to work diversely in electrical and vehicle technology design and product development projects.
In your work, you will be responsible for the electrical system and wiring harness design as well as modeling for mobile equipment and industrial equipment. In your role, you can delve into electrical powertrain solutions for machinery, such as battery technologies as well as the sizing and specification of power electronics. Additionally, your tasks may include planning tests for equipment assemblies, system testing, and ensuring functional safety in the form of defining and analyzing safety functions. You will work closely with customers and other stakeholders, requiring a flexible approach to project work and a technical approach to the job.
The salary range for the role is approximately 3,300 – 4,500 €/month depending on experience, and Etteplan utilizes a hybrid working model (about 2-3 days a week in the office).

Job Tasks
Electrical system and wiring harness design and modeling for mobile equipment as well as industrial machines and equipment
Design of electrical powertrains for machinery (battery technologies, electrical powertrain, sizing and specifications of power electronics for mobile equipment)
Ensuring functional safety, definitions, and analyses regarding safety functions
Planning of tests for equipment assemblies under development and system testing
What we are looking for
Strong expertise in circuit diagrams, wiring harnesses, and bus technologies
Experience in vehicle or machinery technology design, especially in mobile machinery
A suitable university degree for the role
Fluent English skills, Finnish language skills are considered an advantage
An independent, goal-oriented, and proactive work approach
We value it if you have
Knowledge of E3 or Eplan design tools
Experience in battery technology or electrical powertrain
Practical experience in commissioning or field work
