- The Operations Development Manager in Helsinki will own commercialization from finished designs to market launch, coordinating suppliers, manufacturing and international product rollouts.
- Main responsibilities include managing product documentation and testing, overseeing manufacturing and supplier relations, driving launches and market entry projects, and ensuring compliance with product directives.
- The role requires proven experience taking physical consumer products from development to market, advanced project management and organizational skills, and professional working proficiency in English.

About the role As the Operations Development Manager, you will be the driving force behind transforming finished designs into tangible realities. You will take full ownership of the commercialization process, from coordinating with international suppliers and managing manufacturing to ensuring our physical consumer products successfully reach global markets.
Work tasks In this role, you will hold the operational reins, managing everything from product documentation and testing to supplier relations and international launches. Your work tasks include:
- Managing product documentation and ensuring product testing processes
- Overseeing manufacturing coordination and collaborating closely with international suppliers
- Driving the commercialization and launch of new physical consumer products to global markets
- Leading market entry projects, such as establishing relationships with new international distributors
- Implementing continuous minor improvements to the existing product portfolio
- Ensuring compliance with relevant reporting obligations and product directives
Requirements
We are looking for
- Good knowledge of physical consumer product development and commercialization
- Advanced organizational and project management skills with a strong hands-on execution focus
- Professional working proficiency in English
- Have successfully brought physical products from development phase to market launch
It is meritorious if you have
- Basic knowledge of the furniture or design industry
- Experience within e-commerce, logistics, or warehouse operations
- Working knowledge of Finnish, German, or Hungarian
- Familiarity with environmental packaging directives or product compliance reporting
- Experience working in a fast-paced startup or scale-up environment
