Test Developer within Linux for our customer in Lund!

Our customer in Lund develops groundbreaking technology and is now seeking a dedicated test developer who wants to work closely with both hardware and software in a dynamic environment with high freedom under responsibility.

About the position

As a test developer, you will work at the interface between hardware and software in a dynamic team. The role is independent and suits you who are curious, proactive, and enjoy finding your own solutions to complex problems. Since you work with physical hardware, you are expected to be on-site at the office in Lund to a high degree.

Tasks

The role involves developing, automating, and performing tests on embedded systems in a Linux environment, as well as troubleshooting and analyzing test results on physical devices.

• Develop and automate test suites for embedded Linux systems
• Write scripts in Python and Shellscript for testing purposes
• Work with GitHub Workflow to build code and integrate tests
• Load software and run tests on physical embedded devices
• Troubleshoot and analyze logs when problems arise during testing
• Collaborate with both hardware and software teams to solve problems
• Propose improvements and new solutions for the testing processes

We are looking for you who have

• Good knowledge of Linux environments
• Experience in programming in Python and Shellscript
• Experience of or a very strong interest in test automation
• Experience with version control and CI/CD using tools like GitHub
• Good ability to communicate in English, as the team is international

It is meritorious if you have

• Experience with embedded systems (embedded Linux)
• Experience in practical troubleshooting and log analysis
• Knowledge of Swedish
