Senior Fullstack Developer, remote work

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Fullstack Developer to modernize our client's forestry ERP system. You will work in an independent role and migrate a large Java/GWT user interface toward a modern React implementation, utilizing AI agents in your daily work.

We offer a long-term consulting assignment (indefinite contract), full remote work possibilities, and the opportunity to be a pioneer in utilizing agent-based software development on a large scale.

Job Tasks

The role includes modernizing the old ERP system's user interface and logic into a React- and Java-based system using fully agent-driven development methods.

• Building ERP views, such as search views, editors, and dialogs, with React
• Designing REST APIs behind the user interfaces
• Building agent-driven development tools and checks at this scale
• Refactoring and modernizing the old ERP system's code into a new React- and Java-based architecture

We are looking for

• Advanced TypeScript and React expertise
• Extensive experience in building web products from end to end
• Strong practical experience in agent-based development (e.g., Claude Code) and building custom instruction files
• The ability to work in a large existing codebase and refactor old code
• An excellent eye for functional and visually high-quality user interfaces
• Fluent English language skills

We value if you have

• Good Finnish language skills
• Experience with Java and REST APIs
• Experience with ERP or other business-critical systems
• Experience with geospatial information systems or GIS software
• Experience with cloud services (AWS)
