Your Job

• Accompany children in everyday school life: You supervise and accompany primary school children in the after-school care (Hort) in the afternoon and create a reliable and appreciative environment after lessons.
• Take on group responsibility: You take on the pedagogical responsibility for an after-school group and, together with the children, structure a varied daily routine.
• Design leisure pedagogy offers: You develop creative and age-appropriate activities in the areas of play, movement, creativity, and project work.
• Support learning accompaniment: You support the children with their homework and promote independent learning as well as a sense of responsibility.
• Promote holistic development: You strengthen the social skills, teamwork, independence, and conflict resolution abilities of the children.
• Live cultural diversity: You create an open, respectful environment in which children from different backgrounds feel welcome and valued.
• Shape parental work: You conduct trusting conversations with parents and inform them about the development and well-being of their children.
• Live teamwork: You work closely with colleagues, teachers, and other pedagogical specialists.
• Observation and documentation: You observe the development of the children and document important pedagogical observations.
• Ensure safety and well-being: You ensure a safe, supportive, and promoting atmosphere in everyday after-school care.
• Co-shaping after-school life: You contribute your own ideas to projects, holiday programs, festivals, and activities and actively participate in the further development of the pedagogical offerings.

Your Qualification

• Degree: You have completed training as an educator (Erzieherausbildung) or recognition of your international degree.
• Strong communication skills: You possess very good English language proficiency in speaking and writing (at least C1, ideally C2 level) and communicate clearly, appreciatively, and appropriately for the target group.
• Experience in design: You possess pedagogical competence as well as experience in the planning and implementation of activities and projects.
• Creativity and initiative: You bring creativity, initiative, and the courage to explore new ways in teaching.
• Openness to new things: You approach new pedagogical ideas, digital tools, and creative approaches with joy and curiosity and actively contribute to the further development of our Kita.
• Commitment to Kita development: You actively contribute to the further development of our Kita and help shape change processes.
• Experience in multinational companies: Ideally, you have already worked in a multinational corporate structure and understand the peculiarities of global cooperation.
