Accounting Assistant - San Salvador

We are looking for an Accounting Assistant with a high focus on detail and customer orientation to join our team.

Job Objective:

to ensure the correct recording, control, and analysis of the financial operations of the assigned client portfolio, guaranteeing the timely fulfillment of the accounting cycle and maintaining direct and efficient communication with each client.

Job Functions:

• Comprehensive management of several client accounts simultaneously, ensuring an orderly and customized service.
• Execution ranging from the recording of daily entries, bank reconciliations, accounts receivable/payable control, to the preparation of basic financial statements.
• Providing direct support to clients, resolving inquiries regarding their account statements, and acting with a high focus on detail and service excellence.
• Technical support in specific audits or consultancies according to the firm's requirements.

Requirements:

• Graduate of a Technical High School in Accounting, Accounting Technician, or university student in the final years/graduate of a Bachelor's degree in Public Accounting.
• Minimum of 1 to 3 years of verifiable experience. Having 1 year in accounting firms (outsourcing) and/or 3 years within the accounting department of companies is highly valued.
• Absolute and verifiable mastery of the complete accounting cycle.
• Intermediate level Excel skills (pivot tables, logical formulas, and database cross-referencing).
• Basic level English knowledge.
