Metrology Technician (M/F)

Absolis Intérim is looking for a Metrology Technician (M/F) to join the team of its client, a Nantes-based industry at the heart of cutting-edge technology.

Reporting to the Continuous Improvement Manager, you will play an essential role in the reliability of our controls and in the development of our metrological methods. Your responsibilities will be structured around three main axes:

(*) Management of measuring equipment:

• Evaluate and choose devices suited to the company's needs
• Ensure the calibration, maintenance, and performance monitoring of instruments
• Organize the calibration schedule with service providers and guarantee continuity of service
• Analyze failures and propose corrective actions.

(*) Control methods and compliance with standards:

• Monitor the evolution of applicable standards (leak tightness, integrity, particle counting, etc.)
• Define, adapt, and write control methods and operating procedures
• Implement new procedures based on needs and products
• Act as the primary contact for project managers and the design office

(*) Continuous improvement and knowledge transfer:

• Define control times and ranges to optimize efficiency
• Propose areas for improvement regarding control quality
• Train technicians (control, after-sales service, production) on current methods and standards
• Serve as a metrology referent and expert within the company.

Position located in Nantes Est Company poorly served by public transport Hours: regular from Monday to Friday Remuneration according to profile + travel allowance + restaurant vouchers

Ideally, you have a Bac +2/3 level training such as a BUT or DUT in Mesures Physiques, or equivalent. Experience in cutting-edge industry is strongly recommended. You have a good level of technical English. Mastery of office tools (advanced Excel, Word) is indispensable. Autonomy, rigor, and initiative. We also expect sincere interpersonal skills to work in direct link with production, quality control, after-sales service, and project managers. A taste for cooperation and teamwork.
