Sponsorship and Activation Manager
Key responsibilities
Sponsorship strategy: Develop and implement sponsorship strategies aligned with brand positioning, marketing objectives, and target audiences.
Partnership management: Identify, negotiate, and manage relationships with strategic partners, event organizers, media platforms, and sponsorship properties.
Activation planning: Develop creative and engaging brand activation concepts across events, venues, communities, and customer touchpoints.
Event management: Plan and oversee events, launches, exhibitions, roadshows, and experiential marketing activities from planning through execution.
Brand visibility: Ensure consistent and impactful brand presence across all sponsorships and activation platforms.
Campaign integration: Coordinate sponsorship activities with broader ATL, BTL, digital, social media, CRM, and PR campaigns.
Budget management: Manage sponsorship and activation budgets, negotiate costs, and ensure effective utilization of marketing investments.
Stakeholder coordination: Work closely with marketing, sales, PR, digital, and external agencies to ensure smooth execution of activations.
Performance measurement: Define KPIs and evaluate sponsorship and activation performance, including reach, engagement, leads, and ROI.
Market & trend analysis: Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities to develop innovative sponsorship and activation initiatives.
Requirements
Education: Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, communications, or a related field.
Experience: 6-9 years of experience in sponsorships, activations, experiential marketing, events, or brand management.
Industry experience: Experience in the automotive, FMCG, retail, sports, entertainment, or lifestyle sectors is highly preferred.
Sponsorship expertise: Proven experience managing sponsorship deals, partnerships, and brand activation programs.
Event management: Strong experience in planning and executing large-scale events and customer engagement activities.
Project management: Excellent planning, organization, and multitasking skills with strong attention to detail.
Communication: Excellent English communication, presentation, and stakeholder-management skills.
