What are you going to do?

As a fulltime CDD Analyst at ABN AMRO in Den Bosch, you use your perspective to combat fraud cases, money laundering, and terrorism financing. When faced with suspicious transactions or profiles, you know better than anyone what might be going on. And you will investigate this together with your team or alone, and you will ensure that a report is made. In this challenging position, no two days are the same!

You will be working for a department that adheres to the principle called: Customer Due Diligence (CDD). This is also known as Know Your Client (KYC). Who are the customers with the accounts and what is happening on them, but also "Can the customer pose a risk and what is the business relationship used for?"

But what does this work concretely entail?

• Think of analyzing reports from customers who appear to have moved but still have an account in the Netherlands. What could be going on here?
• Every day you conduct research into the business structure, activities, and cash flows. This way, you know which customers or transactions pose potential threats to ABN AMRO and therefore also to the Netherlands.
• You are continuously working to keep customer files in order, and if something is not clear or information is missing, you call the customer yourself for documents or clarification. So, you are good at speaking to customers over the phone, addressing them regarding activities, and you also do this regularly in English.
• You also send emails and letters to business and private customers.
