As part of temporary employment, we are looking for you to start immediately for our well-known customer in Mannheim as a

Quality Specialist (m/f/d) Metrology

Your tasks:

• Operating, calibrating, and setting up the measuring machine
• Preparing, performing, and evaluating component measurements, including creating and optimizing measuring programs
• Analyzing and documenting measurement data, including inspection decisions and presentation of results (inspection report)
• Independently performing initial sample, pilot series, and series inspections, including creating the associated documentation
• Defining and tracking corrective actions or optimization suggestions
• Expert metrological consulting and coordination with various departments, such as development and production, as well as with external partners, including suppliers
• Participating in and supporting system and process audits
• Ensuring efficient use of the measuring equipment

Your profile:

• Confident handling of dimensional, positional, and form tolerances
• Experience in 3D measurement of complex components
• Good knowledge of handling common measuring systems (e.g., Zeiss) and the metrology software Calypso; GOM knowledge is desirable
• Basic knowledge of foundry, forging, and machining manufacturing technology
• Experience with working methods and quality tools such as FMEA, MSA, as well as in project management
• Good MS Office, SAP, and English skills
• Structured, responsible way of working and ability to work in a team
