*What you'll own:*
- *Creating an outstanding client experience in every visit that results in clients reaching their potential*
- *Coordinate with the supervising therapist to know treatment plan*
- *Plan speech language session(s) in accordance to the needs of each client and of the clinic*
- *Supervise client and assist in safe execution of treatment sessions using guidelines as outlined by supervising therapist.*
- *Internal and external communication in a way that reflects our values*
- *Identifying your dream caseload and co-creating a plan (with our team) to make it happen*
- *Provide basic maintenance/cleaning of clinic and equipment.*
*The successful candidate will work with Speech Therapy clients and will also be considered for Occupational and Physiotherapy clients.*
*What we'd like to see:*
- *Experience working in a multi-disciplinary team*
- *Previous experience with either children or adults with neurological challenges*
- *completion of a Rehabilitation Assistant Program or Speech Assistant course an asset*
- *Previous experience as an Speech Language Assistant an asset*
- *Linguistics or related degree or 3rd or 4th year student*
- *Potential for increased hours up to full-time*
- *Availability for afterschool hours on Mondays and/or Fridays and possibly Saturdays (morning or all day)*
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour
