TEMPORARY RECORDS & FILING ASSISTANT
Job Descriptions : Check the applicable retention period before scan and archive files according to the year and assigned department. Scan closed legal files accurately and efficiently, with a target of 10–15 files per day . Rename and save scanned files according to the Firm’s file naming requirements. Return scanned documents to their respective physical files and organise them properly. Place completed files into Crown boxes , arrange and label the boxes accordingly. Prepare completed boxes for the Firm’s review prior to disposal by Crown. Handle confidential legal and client documents carefully and professionally. Carry, lift and move boxes containing physical files as required. Key Requirements : Able to commit for approximately 2 weeks or until project completion. Fast, efficient and able to meet daily processing targets. Good attention to detail and accuracy when handling documents. Comfortable with repetitive scanning, filing and physical handling of files. Able to carry and move boxes of physical files. Able to follow instructions and work independently. Previous experience in filing, scanning, records management or administration is an advantage but not required.
