DEVELOPMENT MANAGER | NORTH LONDON, BARNET

£55,000-£56,000 | Permanent

Looking for a Development Manager role where you can take ownership, solve problems and make a genuine difference?

I'm working on a confidential opportunity with a highly respected property management business, overseeing a unique residential development in the London Borough of Barnet.

This is a hands-on role for someone who knows residential estate management inside out. You'll take responsibility for the day-to-day running of the development, lead the on-site contractors and tackle the challenges that come with managing an established, distinctive estate.

THE ROLE

  • Full responsibility for the day-to-day management of the development
  • Lead and support the on-site maintenance and concierge team
  • Oversee compliance, PPM, risk management and contractors
  • Support budgets, service charges and financial reporting
  • Manage RMC relationships and key stakeholders
  • Take ownership of ongoing building issues and legacy projects
  • Identify improvements, resolve problems and drive standards forward

WHAT THEY'RE LOOKING FOR

  • Strong residential block, building or estate management experience
  • Proven RMC and stakeholder management experience
  • Experience leading an on-site team
  • Strong contractor, supplier and maintenance management skills
  • Good understanding of compliance, PPM and risk
  • Confidence dealing with complex building issues and challenging situations

This role would suit a practical, confident property professional who understands the realities of running a residential development and knows how to get things done. What matters most is your ability to take ownership, use your initiative and keep things moving.
