Purchasing and Foreign Trade Specialist

International company in the automotive sector seeks to integrate a Purchasing and Foreign Trade Specialist into its team, responsible for managing national and international purchasing processes, imports, and logistics coordination, ensuring the timely supply of raw materials and supplies.

Location: Parque Industrial Aerotech, Querétaro Schedule: Monday to Friday from 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM Modality: 100% on-site Salary: $30,000 gross monthly Hiring: Direct with the company

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage maritime and air import processes.
• Coordinate international shipments and national logistics.
• Perform national and international purchases.
• Create and follow up on purchase orders.
• Search for, evaluate, and follow up with suppliers.
• Request quotes and perform comparative analyses of products and services.
• Guarantee the timely delivery of raw materials and supplies.
• Coordinate customs and transport processes and requirements.
• Handle commercial and foreign trade documentation: invoices, Carta Porte, customs declarations, certificates of origin, among others.
• Collect and control supplier documentation.
• Plan and follow up on routes and logistics services.
• Manage logistics service portals, courier portals, and OEM portals.
• Provide attention and follow-up to internal customers.
• Prepare and control KPIs, reports, and records related to purchasing and logistics.

REQUIREMENTS

• Experience in national and international purchasing and foreign trade.
• Experience in import processes and international logistics.
• Advanced English is indispensable, as there will be direct communication with international suppliers.
• SAP is indispensable.
• Experience in OEM portals is indispensable.
• Proficiency in Excel.
• Knowledge of commercial, customs, and logistics documentation.
• Experience in searching, negotiating, and following up with suppliers.
