Senior Project Manager

Your tasks

Job Description We are looking for a Senior Project Manager. As a Senior Project Manager, you will lead customer projects within electrical drive units (EDU) for global automotive customers. You are responsible for customer projects, application projects, Advanced Engineering projects, and sales campaigns. You are also responsible for ensuring that quality, time, cost, and scope are maintained. You lead cross-functional teams including development, purchasing, quality, manufacturing, supply chain, sales, and finance in an international environment. You take ownership, drive results, and lead through influence rather than mandate. You are customer-oriented, commercially aware, and remain structured in a fast-growing environment. Main responsibilities: Leading customer projects from start to delivery: planning, milestones, resources, budget, and risk management Leading customer meetings, technical discussions, and internal reviews, as well as driving decisions and escalations Coordinating technical documentation for RFI/RFQ and supporting new business Acting as the bridge between customer-facing teams and development teams in an international organization

Requirements

Mandatory qualifications Technical degree (mechanical, electrical, mechatronics, automotive, or equivalent) or equivalent experience At least 5 years of experience in project or program management, preferably within the automotive industry Experience leading customer projects and complex cross-functional product development Good understanding of the European automotive industry and customer expectations Fluent English

It is considered meritorious if you have experience with EDU, e-mobility, powertrain, or electrification, as well as with European OEM or Tier 1 suppliers. It is also meritorious if you have experience leading RFI/RFQ responses or technical sales support, as well as collaboration between organizations in different countries and cultures. Knowledge of validation processes, industrialization, and production start is also meritorious.
